Looking for the i-SAFE curriculum? Scroll down past the fabulous Common Sense Media FREE curriculum, and you will find i-SAFE. Please note that the 2015-2016 school year will be the last year EGUSD will renew the i-SAFE subscription.

As explained on the home page, CIPA requirements do not have a minute/hour requirement. As long as you cover the 3 required areas (which is really more like 4 areas), you are free to select - or create - lessons to best meet your site and students' needs. We imagine that 3 lessons per grade level will suffice, although you are welcome to expand on your lesson offerings.

Technology Services/Curriculum and Professional Learning will continue to approve your print shop requests. If you are not using i-SAFE lessons, please attach a note to your print request, noting which of the CIPA requirements the lessons you have selected meet:
  1. Appropriate online behavior (building a positive digital footprint; respecting intellectual property)
  2. Safety and privacy
  3. Cyberbullying
